DRI Mumbai has arrested businessman and two others for customs duty evasion of ₹30 crore through undervalued luxury furniture imports. The accused allegedly misused dummy Importer Exporter Codes to import undervalued and mis-declared branded luxury furniture. Probe and searches revealed the misdeclaration and gross undervaluation, with a Oshiwara resident identified as one of the orchestrators.
