Singer Armaan Malik spoke about how Indian audience diminishes artists from their own country. "Indian audience has preconceived notion that Indian artistes don't sing English well...we just have this feeling in our country where we think of our own people lesser," he said. He added that Indian artists are gaining international recognition and it's suddenly "cool to support Indian artistes".
