RJD MLA from Raghopur, Tejashwi Yadav, has been elected as the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. A party must secure at least 10% of the total seats of the Assembly for its leader to be eligible for the Leader of the Opposition post. RJD secured 25 seats in the recently concluded Bihar Assembly elections.
