Karnataka BJP chief BY Vijayendra accused the CM Siddaramaiah-led Congress government of running a corrupt system, alleging, "For every ₹100 meant for development, ₹50 is looted by ministers." His charge followed a contractors' body letter claiming commissions doubled under Congress rule. Vijayendra added, "Once again, it proves that the only thing Congress does with efficiency is corruption."
