Disciplinary Committee of Congress's Karnataka unit issued a notice against former MLA LR Shivarame Gowda for speaking to the media regarding the change of CM in the state. "The media statements not only embarrass the party but also lead to a violation of party discipline," the notice read. The party has sought an explanation from the leader within a week.
