Israel intercepted many of the nearly 200 missiles fired by Iran amid escalating tensions, using its "layered" defence systems, reports said. Apart from Iron Dome- built to intercept short-range rockets- Israel's David's Sling, Arrow 2 and Arrow 3 defences were likely put to work during Iran's latest attack. David's Sling and Arrow systems intercept long-range rockets and ballistic missiles.
