Squadron Leader Priya Sharma, the last woman fighter pilot to fly MiG-21, is only the seventh woman fighter pilot of the IAF. Hailing from Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu, she followed her father’s footsteps into the IAF. Sharma was inspired by her childhood experience around jets like Jaguars and Hawks. She underwent advanced fighter pilot training at Hakimpet and Bidar Air Force Stations.
