The Tirupati Temple Trust TTD was cheated of ₹250 crore by an Uttarakhand-based dairy that supplied fake ghee to TTD for five years, an investigation by CBI-led SIT has found. Bhole Baba Organic Dairy supplied 68 lakh kgs of fake ghee to TTD between 2019 and 2024, but never procured any real milk or butter, the probe revealed.
