China's internet regulator declared a two-month long campaign to curb any online content that promotes violent sentiment in society. Posts with negative claims like "hard work is useless" or "studying is useless" will also come under scrutiny. Posts on rumours about the economy, distorted narratives of incidents, and "sensational conspiracy theories" will also be targeted under this initiative.
