US government has confirmed changes to interview process for getting green cards, work visas and citizenship. The policy changes, including expansion of civics test in citizenship interviews, will take effect from October 20. Applicants will have to show greater knowledge of US history and government, background checks will be broadened and applicants will be assessed for 'good moral character'.
