Muhammad Wasim was removed as Pakistan Women's head coach after the team finished last at the recently concluded World Cup without winning a match. Of seven matches, Pakistan lost four, while three ended in a no result. Pakistan amassed just three points from seven matches, all due to washouts. A new head coach will be appointed soon.
