The deaths of a 20-year-old man and his 20-year-old female friend, both engineering students, took place within 30 minutes in Tamil Nadu on Saturday. The girl, riding pillion on her friend's bike, died after a Puducherry Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) bus hit their bike from behind. Following her death, her grief-stricken friend jumped in front of a bus and died.
