An investigation by The Bureau of Investigative Journalism (TBIJ) found that an AI chatbot on Character.AI platform mimicked convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The bot called 'Bestie Epstein' invited apparent minors to a "secret bunker under the massage room" and asked them about their "secrets". The probe also found bots modelled on alt-right extremists and school shooters.
