Discussing Maha Kumbh stampede which claimed the lives of 30 people, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Tuesday said that the "figures that we have seen with our eyes are 2,000 people were dead". He made the remarks in Rajya Sabha after which Deputy Chairman Harivansh asked him to authenticate the figure mentioned by him.
