Ex-Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina's niece Tulip Siddiq has resigned as UK's Treasury Minister following corruption allegations linked to Hasina. Tulip, Hasina and her son were accused of a $5-billion embezzlement linked to Russian-backed nuclear power plant in Bangladesh. Tulip said she was cleared of wrongdoing but resigned as the issue was becoming "a distraction from the government's work."
