Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav claimed that vehicles in his cavalcade were issued challans worth ₹8 lakh for overspeeding on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. He said, "I am sure that the person who was operating the camera must be owing allegiance to the BJP. I will get it investigated." Yadav added he had asked his team to pay the amount.
