The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has unveiled plans to construct 'Mumbai Eye', a giant ferris wheel on the lines of the London Eye. The structure will be constructed on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model but the location is yet to be finalised. The project has been in the pipeline for several years but faced several hurdles.
