Accenture laid off over 11,000 employees globally in the past three months. According to a TOI report, rapid AI adoption, coupled with slowing corporate demand, is the reason for layoffs. As per Accenture CEO Julie Sweet, the layoffs are part of a broader $865 million restructuring programme. The company is reportedly realigning its workforce with client demand for AI-driven solutions.
