Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi said eastern Ladakh is being dominated by the Indian Army, which is ensuring the territorial integrity of India. "Our response to Chinese attempts to unilaterally change the status quo was a swift...and synergized action," said Dwivedi. He added that "adverse attempts" to change the status quo will be met with an "appropriate" response.
