Emraan Hashmi addressed controversy surrounding his upcoming film 'Haq', based on Shah Bano case (1985). The film has been accused of targeting Muslim community, to which Hashmi replied "As liberal Muslim, I can say that I had no problems with viewpoint of the film." He added, "We aren't maligning any community. If we were, I wouldn't have done this film."
