The Rajasthan High Court has granted six months' interim bail to self-styled godman and rape convict Asaram Bapu on medical grounds, News18 reported. Asaram had filed a regular bail plea citing his deteriorating health. He was found guilty of raping his female disciple multiple times at his Ahmedabad Ashram. He was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in 2023.
