A TMC worker was shot dead and two others including regional president Bakul Sheikh were injured by unidentified miscreants in West Bengal's Malda. The incident occurred when Sheikh was attending a road inauguration. Police are probing if the incident is linked to infighting within the party. This comes days after the murder of TMC councillor Dulal Sarkar in the district.
