Film critic and author Bharathi S Pradhan revealed that some film magazines banned Amitabh Bachchan after the 1975 Emergency ended as they believed that he was responsible for censoring their content. "If there was a filmography of, say, Hema Malini, and Amitabh Bachchan was her co-star, they would just put a comma instead of his name," Bharathi shared.
