Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, while responding to US President Donald Trump's claim that Pakistan has been testing nuclear weapons, said, "Whatever happens, we are prepared for any eventuality." Asked if India would test nuclear weapons if Pakistan did it, he said, "Let's first see if they do it." India has called Pakistan's nuclear record "clandestine and illegal".
