Following complaints of unauthorised encroachments, the Pune Municipal Corporation seized 21 LPG cylinders from hawkers in the Deccan area. Sandeep Khalate, in charge of the civic anti-encroachment department, stated that pedestrians faced problems using footpaths due to encroachments. The PMC also seized stalls, and Khalate confirmed that these operations would be carried out regularly.
