Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday cancelled the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) licence of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk's NGO Students' Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh (SECMOL). Government had earlier issued a show-cause notice to SECMOL, asking why the licence shouldn't be cancelled. It had blamed Wangchuk for inciting violence in Ladakh that killed four people.
