A Microsoft report claimed 40% of employees using Microsoft 365 begin reviewing emails at 6 am in a new trend called "infinite workday", receiving 117 emails/day and reading most of them in under 60 seconds. On average, employees are interrupted during core work hours every two minutes by meetings, emails or notifications. Tuesdays carry heaviest meeting load, at 23%.
