Iran announced on Monday that it will suspend visa-free entry for Indians from November 22. "From this date, Indian nationals with ordinary passports will be required to obtain a visa to enter or transit through the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran," the Embassy of Iran posted. Indian tourists were earlier allowed visa-free entry under specific conditions.
