Investor Michael Burry, often called 'Big Short' after he made ₹7,300 crore by predicting the 2008 financial crisis, has de-registered his hedge fund Scion Asset Management. This comes days after Burry revealed a ₹9,700-crore bet against AI firms Palantir and Nvidia's shares, predicting that they'll crash in the near future. A letter, purportedly from Burry, hinted that he's shutting Scion.
