Lyricist Javed Akhtar criticised the reception given to Taliban-ruled Afghanistan's Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi during his India visit. "I hang my head in shame when I see the kind of respect...given to representative of the world's worst terrorists group Taliban...who've completely banned girls education," he wrote. Akhtar called out Darul Uloom Deoband for giving Muttaqi a grand welcome.
