BJP leader Amit Malviya slammed the Congress for giving the Indira Gandhi Peace Prize to former Chilean President Michelle Bachelet and accused Bachelet of having an "anti-India, pro-Islamist narrative". Malviya also alleged that Bachelet "routinely targeted India under the guise of minority rights and freedom of speech." He added that the real issue was Congress's eagerness to reward her bias.
