Russia has tested a new nuclear-capable, nuclear-powered cruise missile named the Burevestnik. The missile has reportedly travelled a distance of 14,000 km and remained in the air for nearly 15 hours. The 9M730 Burevestnik, whose name translates as "storm petrel" was called by Putin as "invincible" to current and future missile defences. NATO refers to it as the SSC-X-9 Skyfall.
