A 7-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by two of his teachers at a school in Uttarakhand's Haridwar. According to his father, the teachers beat the child because he took two days' leave. The father alleged one of them "threw the child to ground, pressed his face with a shoe, and held his hands" while the other "beat him with stick".
