Karnataka BJP President B Y Vijayendra on Thursday challenged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to provide proof for his claim that BJP offered ₹50 crore each to 50 Congress MLAs to destabilise the government. Vijayendra criticised the allegation as damaging to democracy, portraying MLAs as "commodities for sale". If unverified, the accusation would appear as a "childish political statement", he warned.
