India in Pixels by Ashris has shared a map plotting the inter-state relationships of couples in some Bollywood movies. It noted that in most Hindi movies, the male character was from north or west while the female character was from south or east. "The exceptions are rare but those films aren't as popular as the main stereotypical pairing," it said.
