The Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) said it detected 6,084 cases involving ₹2.01 lakh crore of GST evasion in FY24. The figure stood at ₹1.01 lakh crore across 4,872 cases in FY23. Online gaming saw the maximum evasion at ₹81,875 crore in 78 cases, followed by Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector at ₹18,961 crore in 171 cases.
