Indian companies raised ₹1.21 lakh crore through qualified institutional placements (QIPs) till November 2024, according to data from Prime Database. This is the first time that fundraising through QIPs crossed the ₹1 lakh crore mark in a calendar year. This shows a more than two-fold increase compared to the ₹52,350 crore raised in the previous calendar year.
