Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that his country remains committed to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and its safeguard agreement. This statement comes one day after Iran enacted a law to suspend cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The US has deemed Iran's decision to suspend cooperation with the IAEA as unacceptable.
