The Russian-origin MiG-21 fighter jets, inducted into the Indian Air Force in 1963, were retired at a ceremony in Chandigarh on Friday. According to NDTV, one of the jets may be displayed at the Indian Air Force Museum in Delhi, while others could be sent to museums worldwide. A few MiG-21s might also be preserved for the IAF’s vintage squadron.
