While responding to a query about whether India plans to take "tough action" like the stance of former PM Indira Gandhi against Pakistan, EAM S Jaishankar said that the government is "closely monitoring" the treatment of minorities in the neighbouring nation. "We as a government and a country can't change...[Pakistan's] fanatical and bigoted mindset...even Indira Gandhi couldn't do it."
