Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold equities worth ₹4,285 crore in the first three trading sessions of this year, the latest NSDL data showed. In December, the net equity investment by FPIs stood at ₹15,446 crore. However, the net buying in equities declined by 99% YoY to ₹427 crore in 2024 amid higher valuations and reduced corporate earnings growth.
