EV maker Tesla sold 40 cars in India in October, taking its cumulative sales in the country to 104 units, according to data from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations. However, on a monthly basis, Tesla's retail sales dropped 37.5%. Tesla, which opened its first showroom in India in July, currently offers only its Model Y SUV in the country.
