World's richest man Elon Musk met Iran's ambassador to the UN on Monday, a day before US President-elect Donald Trump appointed him to head Department of Government Efficiency, NYT reported. The meeting was held to discuss how tensions between Iran and US can be defused. Musk reportedly joined a call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier this month.
