PM Narendra Modi announced that "citizens of Mongolia will now receive free e-visas to visit India". He also stated that India will sponsor an annual trip for young Mongolian cultural ambassadors. "India has been a reliable partner in Mongolia's development, and the oil refinery project, funded through India's $1.7 billion line of credit, will bolster Mongolia's energy security," he added.
