Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has directed affiliated colleges to implement the free education scheme for girls. Pro-vice chancellor Professor Parag Kalkar stated disciplinary actions will be issued against violating institutions, while complaints will lead to investigations. Colleges must submit a detailed report of actions to the joint director of higher education.
