TMC suspended two of its student leaders citing "anti-party activities" for making a short film based on 'backdrop' of RG Kar Hospital's rape-murder case. "They violated...party's discipline & created a false impression...that [party] is promoting the film," said TMC's student wing president Trinankur Bhattacharjee. However, both student leaders denied that their film is related to RG Kar issue.
