A record 48 teams will compete in the FIFA World Cup 2026, co-hosted by Canada, the USA, and Mexico, who have automatically qualified. Other confirmed teams include Japan, New Zealand, Iran, Argentina, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Jordan, Australia, Ecuador, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Morocco, and Tunisia. The event will be held from June 11 to July 19 next year.
