In its first reaction after a defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) said that ups and downs are inevitable in public service. "No sorrow in defeat, no arrogance in victory...RJD is the party of the poor. It'll continue to raise its voice among the poor," it said. Mahagathbandhan's RJD won 25 seats in the polls.
