Scientists have successfully tested menstrual cups under spaceflight conditions, marking a major step toward sustainable menstrual-health options for astronauts. Two cups were sent into space. They showed no signs of wear or tear, maintaining their structural integrity despite extreme acceleration forces, temperature changes, and pressure variation and demonstrated complete leak-proof performance.
