A federal appeals court in US has upheld a jury's finding in a civil case that President-elect Donald Trump sexually abused columnist E Jean Carroll in a store dressing room in 1990s. Carroll had testified at 2023 trial that Trump turned a friendly encounter in spring 1996 into a violent attack. Trump skipped the trial after repeatedly denying the attack.
